What is a Bag Filter?
A Bag Filter is a filtration device housing single or multiple filter bags to remove solid particles entrained within fluids. They are often fabricated and are a competitive design for separation of fine particulate, with the filter bag being disposable such that it can be quickly removed for disposal and a new, clean bag replaced within the retainer very quickly.
The Barton Firtop Mono-In-Line Bag Filter
Barton Firtop have designed a retrofit internal for our standard cast mono-in-line strainers such that a filter bag retainer fitted with a polypropylene filter bag can be located within. The filter bag retainers have a quick access feature to enabling a new bag to replace the used bag in a few seconds. We hold a vast stock of filter bags which are disposable and available competitively in a wide range of micron sizes. Our Mono-in-Line strainers are fitted with quick release cover as standard to give rapid access and a quick-clean solution for fine filtration applications. A bolted cover option can be facilitated upon request.
