What is the Barton Firtop Cast Cartridge Filter?
The Barton Firtop Cast Cartridge Filter is the result of many years R&D with live flow testing and CFD refinement to produce this efficient design with the lowest pressure loss in its class. The unit houses a single pleated filter cartridge giving extended filter area, with standard filtration range of 2-25 micron available. It is suitable for mounting in horizontal pipelines and is available with bolted cover supplied with davit (size 6” and above) as standard.

Our unique design with ‘single-piece’ cast housing construction enables us to bring the most competitive cartridge filter with enhanced process performance to the market. We hold a large range in stock with bolted cover whilst quick release can be catered for upon request. Our pleated cartridge design has central bore to match the process connections for optimised flow and provides a generous filtration area. Various filter medias are available to suit most process conditions. A cartridge filter is traditionally fabricated, through designing a cast housing Barton Firtop have incorporated a special contoured internal geometry that optimises the flow-path, lowering pressure loss, making this product most competitive - both technically and commercially.

- ANSI/ASME Class 150# (stock) up to 1500# (available to order), all ASME VIII Div. 1 compliant
- Materials from Stock: Carbon Steel (ASME A216 WCB) & Stainless Steel 316 (ASME A351 CF8M).
- Materials on request: Duplex & Super Duplex Stainless Steel, 6Mo, Aluminium Bronze, Exotics (Alloy 625, Titanium etc.)
- Many filter medias available to suit all processes: 2µm, 5µm, 10µm & 25µm as standard, others on request
